80 raw GAMSAT (100th percentile). 92 in S3. 5+ years of teaching experience. Median S3 score 69 vs national median 58. 13 marks S3 average improvement. 34% MD/DMD admission rate. I want to make medical entrance accessible for all.

Hey guys!

I am Sameer Mohammad Khan and welcome to my platform 😊. I sat the GAMSAT in late 2020 and scored 80 overall with a 92 in Section 3. My score met the 100th percentile cut off for that sitting and helped me gain admission to the Doctor of Medicine at The University of Sydney (USyd).

Since then, I have taught the GAMSAT for each sitting starting in 2021. As of 2025, I have taught more than 9 sittings of the GAMSAT, 300+ students and gained well over 1000 hours of experience. Over the course of this journey, I have witnessed a rise in my successful enrolments for the MD/DMD (Doctor of Medicine/ Dental Medicine) from 16 (2023) to 21 (2024) to 28 in 2025. For the latest sitting, this means 34% of my students (28/82) were successful in gaining admission to an Australian MD/DMD program. That’s more than 4x the 8% national admissions rate.

The success of my program rests on a learning model fundamental to medical education- Bloom’s taxonomy. Medical reasoning encompasses the entire hierarchy of Bloom’s taxonomy: from understanding the patient’s history and analysing their results to evaluating what is happening (diagnosis) and hypothesising a management plan that will help. The GAMSAT similarly tests your ability to think orderly and come to logical conclusions no matter how overwhelming the content is. My program aligns Bloom’s taxonomy with GAMSAT S3 stems to unearth the fundamental rules governing how ACER develops and marks their questions. My program aims to teach and build mastery in high yield skill areas that ACER has increasingly emphasised: spatial geometry, systems equilibrium, data interpretation and cognitive loading. This systematic approach has greatly helped my students improve their accuracy and solve complex problems under time pressure.

My teaching is relevant, evidence based and easy to understand. In addition to undergraduate students, I have helped numerous non-science background (NSB) students, working professionals and students from disadvantaged backgrounds (refugees, disability support and single parents) improve their S3 mark and succeed in their dream of entering medical school.
